FINAL PRODUCT =]

Just so you know, what i've done is taken an existing video and slowed it down, to make it appear animated. For this i used Quicktime. (image one)
Because i could not use the entire video due to 30 sec time constraint, i took the video into iMovie and cut out all the footage i didnt need. (image two)

Dubbed it with a contrasting soundtrack (Mozart) u
sing Garage band. I did this for comic value.
I also added the sound of a baby laughing. (image three)

Files and formats:

(image 1) shows the details for the origional video file, which was in .m4v format.
m4v is a new type of Quick Time movie created by Apple. This means the file may be compressed, and still maintain high quality.

(image 2) shows the detiails of the edited video file. I changed the file format to .mov because
i edited the soundtrack and video in Garageband and it does not have the option to save the video as an .m4v file.

My final video-although it may not be immediately obvious, is different to the origional, because i have slowed down the framerate, making it appear more choppy. I also replaced the origional soundtrack with a different, more contrasting soundtrack for comedic value.
The only real problem I faced with this was that the lower the frame rate, the more quality was lost, which meant i couldn't slow the video down too much without it becoming completely pixelated.
